Arash Kang
Trustee
Arash Kang is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with extensive experience supporting major businesses, having held senior in-house roles at both a FTSE 100 hospitality group (Whitbread) and, more recently, Virgin Active, a leading international health, wellness and fitness brand. Across these roles, she has advised on a broad range of operational, commercial, property, regulatory, and strategic matters, balancing risk whilst ensuring legal compliance.
Beyond her legal career, Arash is deeply committed to diversity, inclusion and community impact. Her work as Co-Chair of Whitbread’s Race, Religion and Cultural Heritage Network was recognised in 2022 when she was named a “Woman to Watch and Role Model in D&I” in the WiHTL Diversity in Hospitality, Travel and Leisure Index. She has also championed outreach initiatives to bridge the gap between businesses and underrepresented communities, including partnering with SEND colleges to deliver supported internships which in turn create sustainable employment pathways for young people.
In her current role and through her trustee work, Arash continues to be passionate about using her professional expertise and business experience to support the education sector, recognising the vital role schools and multi-academy trusts play in shaping opportunity, inclusion, and excellence for all students.
