Trustee

Owner and director of software business providing education systems (supporting school improvement and staff development, Phonics for young learners, and time recording and expenses system for Local Authorities). 

Chair of Trustees for multi-academy trust with 4 Birmingham secondary schools and a Member of Kenilworth MAT. Formerly Chair of governors at Kenilworth School and Smith’s Wood Academy. 


A Charter Accountant and Corporate Treasurer, having held Finance and IT director posts whilst working for HSBC and worked within an investment and venture capital team at a North American bank. Was a founding shareholder/director of school advisory business, which was contracted by the DfE to undertake the “Schools Facing Challenging Circumstances” programme and provided education consulting services to the new school build programme.

 

Good education provision is the starting point social mobility and inclusion. I am keen to see every child get the best possible start to life, hence my commitment to working in education and being a governor. WSF MAT has a huge opportunity to make a difference, particularly to those who face learning challenges but want to succeed.
